Bitcon - the first decentralized digital currency, is a virtual currency created using strong cryptography. It is money stored in computers and transacted on the internet with almost 0 processing fees. It’s become an economy of its own worth more than $1 billion USD. In this presentation we’ll look at the potential of using Bitcoin for making micro payments in the non profit sector, in places where the regular banking systems are not in place.
